About TierPath

TierPath is a status decision engine for frequent travelers, not a calculator, not a benefit tracker. We tell you what to do next, what to stop doing, and when to pivot to a different tier.

Why we built this

Every other loyalty tool either tracks what you already have (MaxWorth) or runs a one-time spend calculation (SkyCalc, Milesmate). Nothing accounts for the fact that you have a deadline, an evolving spend capacity, and multiple programs in play at once. Nothing tells you when your tier is no longer reachable so you can pivot before the year ends.

We started with Delta SkyMiles because the MQD math is intricate enough to be useful (Headstart, Boost, multiple card stacking) and the qualification year aligns with the calendar. American, United, and Southwest follow in phase 2.

The privacy stance is genuine

We don't connect to your accounts. We don't store your name, email, card numbers, or loyalty IDs. The whole product is built around what we can do with self-reported numbers and product names. This is a feature, not a limitation , read the privacy policy.

Who builds this

TierPath is built and run by Tom Ross, a solo developer who has spent too many years optimizing Delta status from Philadelphia (where Delta is decisively the wrong hometown program, Gold here is worth a lot less than American Platinum, and you can't beat geography). The work that TierPath actually does, cross-program arbitrage with home-airport weighting, was built first as a spreadsheet, then as this product.

Frequently asked

Do I have to give you my Delta login or my card number?

No, and we won't take it if you offer. The whole product runs on what you tell us about your situation. No connectivity to airlines or card issuers, ever.

Will you spam me?

No. We send exactly one type of email, a magic-link recovery message that you explicitly request. We do not have your email address in plain text. We could not spam you if we wanted to.

How accurate is the calculator?

As accurate as the program rules we have on file. Every rule has a "verified" date. We re-verify every 90 days and any time a public rule change is announced. If you see a verified date older than 90 days, treat the result as approximate.

What if I lose my device?

If you added a recovery email at signup, request a recovery link from the home page or settings and you'll get back your profile on the new device. Without a recovery email, the profile is unrecoverable, that's the tradeoff for not knowing who you are.

When will American / United / Southwest launch?

Phase 2. We need to model their qualification logic (American's LP, United's PQP, Southwest's Companion Pass) and seed the card rules with the same versioning discipline we use for Delta.

Do you build native apps?

Phase 7. Web first. The native app is the killer feature for deadline-aware push notifications, but only after the web product proves there's real demand.
